Anyone know the freon level to put in the evaporator on a 94 toyota camry?

this has been googled, looked up in owners manual, and the chilton repair book. Nothing on it.

Just switch over to the 465 system. 4 windows down & 65mph :D

Was this post intended for OT??

Your system maybe R-12 or R-134A as '94 was a change over period in car production.
Let someone evacuated, repair, then re-fill the system.

You add it to the low pressure side and just keep putting it in until it won't accept any more.

find a import mitchell manual and in the front of that specific car it will tell you how much ref. and oil it needs

too much and it will freeze up the condenser, could break the lines. ask a local mechanic. and make sure you evacuate the system before you charge.

I guess you think some of us computer folks know something about cars...yeah, some of us do.

Did you really mean to post this here? :))

If you opened the system, the dryer should/must be changed. I would not fill past the sight glass clearing as performance will drop off. A few bubbles every once in awhile is not a big deal.
