Car charger question for a cell phone...

Okay, I still have the Belkin car charger from my Samsung N400. I noticed that the new Sanyo 8100 I got for a warranty claim has a DC jack on it marked - o + 5V. I cannot find the specifications on Belkin's site for my charger, but both batteries are 3.7V Li-Ion batteries. How much damage could I do to my phone (it's still under warranty, so experimenting wouldn't be a problem) if the DC voltage from my charger isn't the same?

I thought samsung & sanyo used different connectors...

The home charger is different, but the car charger fits perfectly in the DC plug.
