Car charger for Canon Elph?

The Canon CBC-NB1 car charger is about $50, too much IMO. I already have the CB-2LS AC charger since it comes with it. I like these because they're small. Can I get an adapter to change the AC plug on the CB-2LS into a cig. lighter plug for the car? Or would that be an inverter? I don't want a cheap large aftermarket charger.
 
look for dc-ac converter/adapter for the car, they r def out there. i c them in travel stores all the time and im sure places like bb would have something
