I'm looking to get a new 2005 grand caravan. There's currently a 1,000 rebate on the card at the moment. Is this rebate already reflected in the "invoice" price?

The invoice is approximately 20,500 for the grand caravan se on some websites. And I was wondering since there is a 1.00 rebate on the minivan, does that mean their "true cost" is at LEAST 1k under invoice? I understand there are ways they get a cheaper price...often by several thousand right?

What price should I be aiming for when I get to the dealership. I don'tneed any options other than ac and power windows/locks.

Thanks all.

Aim for 2-3% above invoice. Then subtract the $1000 from that.

I've heard that car dealers actually pay about 1-3k under the invoice depending on what deals they get from manufacterers? Iwas just on www.carbuyingtips.com and it has left me a bit confused..=(
