sigh....

So I leave work today and find my drivers side window bashed out and my amp/subs stolen.
After filing a police report that will get nothing done, and since i have sh!tty insurance i won't get any money, i need to save up and buy new ones along with a car alarm.....

So now I'm in the market for 2 12" subs and an amp that will power them...
should be an easy install since the wires are still in the car.

0utch. That sucks. :(

Keep an eye out in your local paper and set a watch on your eBay "local region" for them. They may yet turn up.

Do you have the serial numbers recorded or any markings on them?

The amp is all scratched up from me messing it all up... and I'd instantly know the box with subs

And yes.... I would win the auction/go buy them.... but i'd need someone to go with me to help hide the body

I'm also thinking about buying better stuff than I had before... parking in the same place... and taking a couple weeks off work to smoke cigs and sit on the roof with my rifle. I would just take out his knee cap I think.

No it looks like I'll have to start paying for a parking place at work, and getting a car alarm.
I can't wait to move outta here.

Sorry to hear that - I had my cd player stolen a couple months ago - it sucks

And it's not that your insurance sucks - if you have aftermarket stuff in you have to go to your insurance and get it covered. (Your premium goes up in accordance)

If I were you I'd hold off on getting new stuff until you finish up moving. If your window was bashed out it was done by amateurs - bound to happen again

put a note on the car, "NO RADIO"

buy some under seat speakers, and put your cdplayer in the trunk or glove box,

I have a 1967 Camaro,it has Flowmaster exhaust,that sounds good,and has No radio at all... ;)

Sorry you got ripped off, I had a bunch of casette tapes stolen from my car a few years ago. :(

I'll do it free just to see the jerk's face...=) Lol, "Jesus loves you, now die, a-hole" Hahahahaha :D Just kidding! On a serious note, that really does blow, but you should listen to the other people's advice and wait until you get done moving or whatever. Also, the glovebox CD changer and under the seat speakers are handy...gonna get me some of those - you should think about it...Good luck, bud.

I'm not moving yet.... But I can't wait to.

I would love to wait... But i love music... It'll kill me to be without a good system for a long time. I take to many long trips. I'll just get an alarm, and some camo for the sub/amp so it's completely covered next time. And i'll be parking on the company lot once i start paying for it.

US Acoustic amps are really cheap and, from what I hear, they are good, also.

there are a bunch of models on sounddomain.com (trusted e-retailler) that goes for 85-170$

http://www.sounddomain.com/shoplist~b~US+Acoustics~t~2-Channel+Amps

when bridged to a single channel, they can push most good subwoofers out there.

ive heard so much good thing that im probably gonna get the SX2080 to replace my old kenwood mono.

as for subs, alpine type r's are good, but i dont know which is the best for the price. hafta look into that :)

the image dynamics are good, too
