Car Battery Question

Looking for a new battery to replace my old one which is dead, after having the headlights on for over 1 minute 30 seconds the voltage rapidly started going down from 11.5v down to 10.5v then the car wouldn't start afterwards.

I found a battery at Walmart which says it'll fit and it's 590 CCA, after doing some research I've found batteries that range from 590 CCA up to 650 CCA for my car specifically. I'm wondering if I can get this battery which doesn't say it fits but it's half the price which I'm sure wont be good in the long run, but I'd much rather deal with that then if I could. The BCI for the batter that fits is 40R and both batteries pop up when searching 40r on Walmarts website.

Note: I've replaced my wire terminals already so them fitting shouldn't be a problem since they're not the stock terminals.

The car this is going in is a 2004 Mazda Tribute v6.

Here is the battery that fits: https://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Plus-Lead-Acid-Automotive-Battery-Group-96r/16782657
And the battery I'm wanting to get: https://www.walmart.com/ip/ValuePower-Lead-Acid-Automotive-Battery-Group-65/47308796

Group 65 is a pretty big battery, you should measure your battery tray and available height to see if one will fit, but if it does, get the WM Everstart Maxx group 65 which has 850CCA (sometimes old listings will be 750CCA or similar but they have gone up to 850CCA). They're around $100 and have a better 3 year replace, 5 year prorated warranty. Costco also has the same thing (wearing a different label) for ~$100.

I see several group options for that model year. SOME other/larger groups will fit...but be careful about clearances...especially the top. You can always go with more CCA than recommended...as long as it will fit properly.
IIRC, there are only 3 battery manufacturers in the USA. The rest are just rebranded.

Some other things to keep in mind are how the battery is held down, especially if you take the Tribute off-roading, and whether there is a battery insulator sleeve around it, or a plastic beauty cap on top, and whether you feel you need to keep using it as it may not be adjustable to fit a larger battery.

The beauty caps I take off anyway so I can check the acid level without removing the battery cables every time to lift that cap off.
