car bass question...

find out what is rattling. Get DynaMat and "dyna" out your doors and other rattling parts. On my explorer, i have a sponge behind the license plate and i have weather stripping around the back hatch window, as well as all four doors dynamatted-out.

1. Turn it down (not an option, I know)
2. Apply damping material (aka Dynamat) to the entire trunk area, floor of the vehicle and all four doors. This will set you back about $700 or more...car audio ain't cheap.

nyeturo989: you're bound of offend some of the old farts here on ATOT. Just a friendly heads up.

Hell, you should count yourself lucky. My Jeep rattles with the radio turned off. At 65mph things get relaly fun 😀

TURN IT DOWN!

If you don't wanna do that, do what michael D said. If you can localize the rattling you can get dyna mat just for the rattling parts. If you wanna do the whole vehicle that would be a big pain in the ass!

for all u that dont like b!tches that come by with the music blasting at nite... dont worry, i'm not b!tch.... well... sumtimes 🙂

Right now, its gotten so bad that the vol is 1/4 up and you can hear a faint, yet definate rattle.

For the record... I'm not competing or trying to show off.
