I'm going to be putting a new receiver in my truck soon and I'm looking at the various options out there. Some of them have available HD Radio Tuners. My one question is whether that requires a separate antenna, or can it take advantage of the same antenna the normal FM tuner uses? I imagine it uses the same, but I figured someone on the forum should know (or I could call Crutchfield...but I just like you guys so much and like being berated for laziness).
 
Well I took the super lazy route and just ordered the unit with the HD tuner adapter (they were having a "special" by buying it together). Looks like I'll figure it out during the install. I'll post pictures and report how the HD tuner worked when I finish the install this weekend.
 
I'm in St. Louis and a number of the local stations claim coverage. The adapter/tuner was only $69 after the discount so I figured what the heck.
