Ok, the local Best Buy here has a special going on, buy one set of speakers and the other one is half price. So I'm thinking of buying some semi-decent speakers to replace the ones in the 99 Camry. Nothing fancy, but I'm sure it will sound better than stock.

Anyway, searching on Crutchfield, I found the front speaker size for a 99 Camry is 6.75 inches, and the rear size is 6x9s.

Now, I'm thinking, can I fit a 6.5inch speaker in the front? Because 6.75 seems like an odd configuration and might be hard to find at hte store.

Anyway these are the speakers I'm looking at:
JVC CS-VX620 6 1/2" Car Speakers - $70 CDN - comes with a 2inch tweeter and a hybrid Olefin metallic cone..watever that is

Pioneer TS-A1654 - 6 1/2" Car Speakers - $90 CDN
Pioneer TS-A6953 6" x 9" Car Speaker - $100CDN.
Pioneer TS-A6960R 6" X 9" Car Speakers - $130 CDN

I can't find any 6.75s in the store. :(

So are any of them good choices?

I wouldn't go with Pioneer anything becides head units.

Edit: You can probably get better deals online even w/ Best Buy's deal.

Go with JL coaxils.
They are not that expensive and sound wonderful.
TR650-CXi (6.5") are just over $100.00

umm thats probably a $100 USD. either way, i didn't end up buying anything...my friend however bought a Pioneer 6x9 and 9x7s for his Protege. Came out to $2xx dollars...I figure I'd rather spend that money for suspension upgrades on the Maxima.
