Car audio queston

I have a 98 saturn coupe. The factory stereo sounded sweet when i bought it but now my back two 6.5 speakers are blown to hell.

My friend gave me two kicker impulse 6.5 woofers. I have not hooked them up yet. My question is this: people tell me this car has built in bass blockers in front for highs and built in treble blockers in back for good lows. Is this true? If not, and the stereo pushes full range, will it be enough watts to sound good or will it just fuk up the speakers?

p.s. factory deck is 15 watts rms and speakers are 65rms/120 max

It anything its going to blow those Kickers because the distortion from the factoy HU is so bad... garbage in == garbage out.

Do you know anywhere where I can confirm that the factory deck has built in crossover? Some car audio forum or something?
