car audio question

Does anyone know where to find radio mounting brackets for a 1996 Toyota Corolla? Mine were stolen along with my stereo and I was hoping to get new ones to install my new cd player with. So far I haven't had much luck finding any so I posted here. Thanks in advance.

tom314, since you already have a replacement cd player, you "should" be able to find "generic" replacement mounting brackets at your local "chain-auto" parts store.

Junkyard. Seriously. Any wrecked Toyota from that year/close years before/after will have the brackets you need.

Bring your own tools and be prepared to get dirty and you'll get them for probably $10.

I picked up a metra car stereo installation kit today, but the instructions really don't make a whole lot of sense to me. I guess I just liked how simple my old brackets were. The junkyard sounds like a good idea, but unfornately it's too cold here to be wandering around outside for parts. Thanks for the replies.
