Car Audio Question - Wiring Up Another Amp (for speakers)

Currently, I have a Pioneer amp powering 2 10" subs. It's nice and all but I find that my speakers begin to distort when I push the volume up a bit.

I have an amp just sitting around that I don't use. It's not all that great, but I'm pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong) that it would give my speakers a little more power compared to my Sony deck. The specs on the amp are as follows:

150W x 2 at 2 ohms Stereo Max
300W x 1 at 4 ohms Mono Max
100W x 2 at 4 ohms Stereo Max

The front two speakers are Polk DB650's (60W RMS) and the rear two are Sony's (55W RMS).

Now, would this work for powering four 6.5" speakers? If so, how would I wire them up? Would I need a completely new wiring kit, etc and how should I connect it to the speakers/battery/head unit?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

what make are the 6.5's? do you know anything about wattage on them?
overall chances are you could hook them up 2x2 in parallel and have enough juice to power them up...but not sure how they would do at high volume levels without more info

you should just wire the second amp in series with the first, or you can find distro blocks real cheap at walmart that take your current line from battery and split it into two lines. most amps have a input/output for RCA's so you could wire those in series as well between the amps. ground can go to the same ground point

Alright, so the RCA outputs from the back of the deck already go to the amp I have installed in the car (which go to the subs). How exactly do I run the RCA cables to the new amp? Can I just run them from the RCA output of the old amp to the RCA input of the new amp? Would that result in the new amp powering the speakers alone and the old amp powering the subs alone?

Basically, will I be able to hook up the new amp to power my 4 speakers without having to remove the deck? (I don't have the tools to do so at the moment)

Alright, so let me try to clear some confusion. On the new amp, there are 2 sets of RCA plugs.

One says 'Low Input' with L and R and the other says "Line Out" with L and R as well. The RCA cables from my deck are connected to the Low Inputs.

Then there are 4 outputs that state 'Speaker Connections' (+/- for R and +/- for L as well). These currently go out to my two subwoofers.

So what you are saying is...if I remove these 4 wires that go to my subs, then the amp will be powering my speakers? But that doesn't make sense...don't I need to connect the 'speaker connections' to the speaker wires themselves?

That means if I were to just daisy chain the RCA plugs to another amp, they still wouldn't power the speakers since the amp isn't connected to the speakers themselves...right?
