Car Audio Question: Speakers

I am in the process of doing a minor upgrade to my car audio system in my 98 Honda CR-V. I have already replaced the front 6.5 inch speakers with new Alpine SPS-1629S 2 way speakers. The Alpines make a huge difference over the crap factory speakers even with the stock head unit.

I will be installing my new JVC SVX680 MP3/CD Head Unit today which will hopefully improve the sound even more.

My question is any suggestions for replacing the rear 6.5 inch speakers? Should I get another set of the same Alpines or use something else? I will add an amp in the future, but right now it will all be powered off the JVC head unit.

Call Crutchfield and talk to their advisors.

Like all customer service places, if you're not satisfied with the person you are talking to, hang up and call back. Pretty soon you'll get to talk to someone who actually knows more than you.

If you have a strong front stage there should be no need for rear fill.

Oh yea, just about any set of aftermarket speakers makes a big difference over the generic factory speakers.
