CAR Audio Question: MP3 Cd-Changer

I want to add an MP3-CD Changer to the stock stereo system in my Honda.

Anyone have any experience with the 10disc Sony CDX-757MX changer? I have heard differing reports on the quality of Sony's XPLOD stuff. Also any general comments on the audio quality of an FM modulated changer?

My brother has a 10cd fm modulated sony changer in the back of the BMW..

ever since that was installed the car's sound system has got this crackle.. dont know what the problem is. One of these days I am going to spend some money and have it corrected.

The crackle seems to come when the volume is raised.

it could be that the power lines and the speaker or audio lines are close together, producing interference. its always a good idea to run those lines as far apart as possible, i.e. power line down the driver side and audio lines down the passenger side. you prolly know more than i do, so just my 2cents. good luck
