Car audio problem

Is there any way to help stop car vibrations from affecting the CD player... My car being older, like to vibralte just a little, but it seems to be enough for the CD player not to be able to read the CDs...

Some CD players tend to handle vibration better than others. The only thing I can think of is changing the type of player that's in the car. Also, high-frequency vibrations shouldn't have that much effect (unless they are severe), only hard bumps. I suppose that you could rig up some sort of liquid-mount for the player, but that would be about as far from cost-effective as you can get.
