Car audio people, which is better...... edit where do i get the bracket?

5x7's or round 5 1/4's (with the brackets so they fit)....
I have infinity reference 5x7's (four of them) with two tweeters (also an amp for all 4) and want to upgrade the 4 speakers. Any suggestions would be great, i am looking to spend around $300+ total for the four of them.

I did alot of searching on these forums and two other busy car audio forums, wanted your advice.
Also i have a 4 door focus.
 
5 1/4 components...a good place will be able to install them for you in a 5x7 (6x8) slot...otherwise stick with your 5x7's
 
Is the sound quality noticably better than the 5x7's?
Also what are top of the line 5 1/4's?

Any suggestions where to put the tweeters in the back seat? I have have places for them in the front (should i replace the tweeters with the component tweeter?).
 
they should be able to put them on the same bracket as the speaker, or are the speakers on the rear shelf?
 
and if you're asking about top of the line, it depends on how much you can afford for the component.

Here are some for you to think about:

MB Quart Q series: QM215.61 around $300 on ebay for a pair
Boston Accoustics: Boston 5.5 pro system

You might want to consider rainbow and focal and some other brands. But it really depends to your ears....
 
So the tweeters go on the bracket? Ive seen that and didnt know it was the way it was done for people who have 5x7 holes like myself.
Im looking at about $150-$175 per pair right now....... Anything good in those lines?

check out speakers at your local shop...everyone's ears like different sound....and yeah...tweets can go right beside the woofer with the crossover somewhere tucked nearby, unless you want it displayed
 
There really arent any decent places nearby, but i will be reading on sounddomain and other places to decide, thanks for your help.
