Car audio people, question about buying a sub..

My friend has a 10" W7 he has had for about 4 or 5 months now and he has one of those boxes made for the sub (The box is on JLaudio.com and its pretty big with the red around the front of the box). He is going to sell it, but he doesn't know how much he wants yet. What is a good price to offer him for it? He told me he got it for about $350 for the sub and box which to me seems pretty cheap. And he said he could put it on ebay and get probably that or more out of it.... I'm just wandering what someone who knows a lot about car audio and subs would offer this guy... I mean he is my friend so im sure he'll cut me a little slack... Whats a good price? This is for my benefit to so I don't get my sh^t ripped off...

Do you know for sure that he got it for $350? I'd find out the model number of the box and sub and look up the prices for myself. Then decide for yourself what you would offer him for it. Couple of questions you have to ask yourself: 1. Is he rough with his audio ie. a bass head? 2. Does he take care of it ie. clean it? Audio equipment depreciates quickly so really you have to add all this up and decide for yourself. That W7 is a badass woofer though. I've got Kicker comps myself.

Actually he really isn't a bass head... He doesn't go around bumping it too much... especially since he got a new car and his dad is driving the car with the w7 in it right now. The box is called the W7 H.O Wedge (you can check it out here, its the one in the bottom right with the w7 in it) Also he has taken good care of it and I think it worth it to buy for about $350 or maybe even a little less than that... I don't think he'll get $400+ like he plans on eBay or anything.

W7 = god of all subs

I'd honestly say it's worth more than $350, those subs are so mint.. but check around on Ebay or something to see what they are going for.. I'd love to hook up a W7 in my car... I'd probably get noise pollution tickets though.. they are sick subs...

haha yeah that's why I am wanting a w7.... I was planning on getting an Infinity Perfect 12" and a 400 watt Rockford amp to power it.... I have a Galant GTZ with the stock Infinity system so my speakers are alright for now. But one of my other friends thinks that the 10 w7 hooked up to about a 700 watt Rockford amp will only bump a little harder than the 12" perfect with a 400 watt amp.... I think this kid is crazy... w7's POUND
