Car Audio/MP3 Unit Question (hard drive based)

Is there an affordable hard drive based unit out there?

I found a Pioneer one I like here, but there's no way I'm gonna shell out that much for a 10-year old car.

Does anyone know of one that is more reasonably priced? Otherwise, I'll probably get a cd-based unit. (Kenwood or Pioneer)

I got the Pioneer DEH-P8500MP MP3/CD Headunit refurbished off Ebay for $300 and so far it's great. You can get 100-200 songs per CD (Which is great) and it doesn't skip a beat. Plus the motorized face and the graphics are amazing.

Harddrive based car head units are wayyy too expensive imho
