Okay here is the deal. I have a 1967 Mustang (duh) and I am looking to put a Cd changer in it. I have the changer and the RF modulater now the only problem is that I need an FM radio in order to make this thim work (my radio is only AM and I want to keep it in because I think it is cool and I want to keep a stock interior). So I want to keep the original radio in the car and my plan is to have two seperate systems. The old one (with the original speakers) and the new one that works with an CD plaeyr with the speakers in the back. My question to all you car audio people out there is this, can I make the two radios (the stock AM radio and my new AM/FM radio) work off the same antenna?

the antenna is just a cable, you can splice it and run it two cables from it, and you can buy ends that'll plug into your head unit. Also, they sell replica am/fm radios w/ somtiems cd players that look vintage, might wanna check into that or something.. good luck

Just a thought, I know you said you want to keep it a stock interior, but my buddy has a 67 and he bought an FM radio out of a Mustang catalog that is just like the original. It fits behind the original bezel just as the other is. Maybe you have already seen this, but just thought I would mention it.

Some kinda company makes those kindsa radios....secret industries?
not sure...but they look identical to stock but are good quality.
You'd probably want to look into that.
I've never seen a FM->AM convertor like the kind you're looking for.
GL in your search!

I don't think he is looking for an fm/am convertor. He just wants to split the antenna wire between two radios.
