car audio? does a pioneer deh-p4500mp play vbr mp3s?

well, Someone here might know. I've heard that some car mp3 players have trouble with vbr mp3's. Experience with a pioneer deh-p4500mp?
 
The manual says it will play them back. My mp3's are all recorded at 320 so I haven't actually tried VBR recordings myself. I have 2 of these Pioneer units (one for me, one for the wife) and they have been really great so far. Have had them about 6 months or so.

Only negative I can see is only two stereo out cables. No seperate sub channel.

We just forgo the normal fader functionality and fade between the normal speakers and the sub to deal with it.
