I dont like the way it looks but the specs are very nice. six 7 volt preouts is very nice. Although my 8053 has 8 volt preouts 😉

Do you actually gain a whole lot more after 4-5V preouts? My CD5435 has 5V and the 2005 8xxx series from Eclipse has 8V, but for 2006, Eclipse went down to 5V again, even on their flagship decks.

The HU you linked is quite ugly...though, the features are nice. 30 band EQ? Good luck setting that up manually. 😉

Either way, I'll probably only ever buy an Eclipse or Alpine HU.

I'll stick w/my Alpine CDA-9855. So it doesn't play AVI's or have a test/signal generator. I can't watch movies while driving, and I have test CD's for freq./phase/etc.

The HDD in the unit is the deal killer for me on that thing. New England cold + New England potholes = Expensive head crash.

I wouldn't buy anything from them, unless they cleaned up their act like OCZ.
