I have a friend's amp that I am trying to hook up. I hooked up all the wires and turned on the car, didn't work. So then I went and bought a new fuse, still didn't work. I'm wondering at this point, are there any specific things I could look at on or inside the amp that would signal that it is a blown amp? Thanks in advance.

I guess I might try to hook up my friend's amp tommorow (his new one). But I just got the RCA converter installed on my stock deck and ran all the wires in. They also installed the signal cable. I'm sort of confused now cause I'm kinda new to this type of stuff.

To help, the power light on the amp does not come on at all, but I will check to see if it gets hot.. I've come to three conclusions, either power cable is not working, signal cable, or the amp is fried.
