car amp problems

okay guys i know nothing about this stuff so bare with me.... this morning on my way to class my amp kicked off... so i pulled over looked at the amp couldn't find anything wrong ... i then opened my hood and found the wire with the fuse was no longer on my battery and it looked like it was snaped or cut off.... only thing is how and where do i put it back ???? please help

the fused portion of the supply signal always goes to the hot wire (+,red) of your battery. Ensure the red wire is (+) as some idiots replace the wires incorrectly.

Re-attach, and rock on.

okay here is the thing... i just hook the wire to the battery cause it seemed to have some yellow plug thing on it.... very confusing it allso had electrical tape all over it but there was none anywhere else.... i don't want to blow anything since it cost me 270 bucks and my friend that put it in is away for a week

if you don't want to blow up your amp, wire it up correctly dude. I mean seriously. Get a good power kit and do it right. sheesh.

well i got the kit from the wiz and it cost me 40 bucks , it seems like my battery is loose and moving around alot.... i think thats what snaped it

to add to that , i can't find where it pluged into originaly ... if i could find that i'm golden

go drive back where it fell off or check the underside shielding. Sounds like someone forget to tighten things up :)
