Car Alarm Question

I have a car alarm on my 1996 grand caravan. I went to get the brake pads changed today and for one reason or another the battery went dead at the shop. They recharged teh battery and everything is ok. The only thing is that the car alarm will not work which is also tied in with the keyless entry. Do i need to reset soemthing or is it probably the battery in the remote? Thanks

Check the battery to see if the powerwire for the alarm was reattched. That is if it was originally powered directly off the battery.

If it is a decent alarm it should go off when the battery power wire is tampered with.

the alarm got messed up when the battery went dead, sorta like cutting the power to the alarm. it is something with the alarm, not the fab
