well i am planning on getting a car alarm to protect what i have in my car.
the alarm is a audiovox prestige aps-996. I also am needing the GM modular bypass 555l which i can get on ebay, and i will be gettin a piezo alarm. the only problem with this alarm is that i cant hook a battery backup alarm, however the alarm is 150$.
Does anyone have any experience installing them? how hard was it? i am expecting it to be difficult, but im not sure how difficult, im figuring 2 straight days, first day finding, and marking wires, checking, second day cutting, splicing, installing, locating.
also it has remote start, which is awesome. for those cold snowy days (TODAY) when you need to heat your car and get the snow off.
