car accident... minor injuries

my dad just got into car accident this eve, i just got home.
what happenned was that he was driving and another car hit him front left side, other car didn't stop at stop sign, we got witness and cop report.
wanna know what kind of things we can sue for. his damage was facial, like torn muscles and cuts looks really scarry.
i'm still shocked at this, cuz it happened like blocks away from our house.
we are lookin for compensation for this, although insurance company won't make it the car as a total wreck but from lawsuit side any possible leads?

Actually you can sue.

Have your father go after the insurance company, after that if there is permanent damage to his face (scarring, hurts to move, etc.) than you can sue for that, and get A LOT of money from it. I just can't remember who you are supposed to sue, I think it is the indiviual but it could be the insurance company.

i always am cautiuous around stop signs or yield sign, cuz i really dont trust other drivers. My girlfriend will just breeze right past them and i have had to scream in fear as cars have gotten too close for my comfort.

She cant drive my car anymore =].
