Capturing Video...volume problem

I have just installed a AVerMedia TV Studio card and I noticed that when I capture from the TV tuner the volume during the playback is very quiet. I have this same issue with my ATI TV Wonder as well... I check the volume settings for the system (Playback and recording).

Any suggestions?
