Capturing video problem

In all my videos they flicker or something when something. Is this just because I got a low end DV camcorder?

maybe a loose connection to the capture card? I'd look first for a possible wiring issue. Jiggle the video out port of the camcorder and look for the flickering to get worse or clean up. Does the flickering appear in the preview monitor too?

naw just the finished video(after its been captured).

Are you transfering the DV to PC lossless (firewire?) or do you mean like interlacing artifacts from motion in the video?
