Capturing Video Effortlessly on Radeon?

How are you people doing this? I can only capture in DirectShow, which by the way, excuse my french, BLOWS MY ASSS!!!!! Anyway, eh hem, When i try Video for Windows, my machine locks/reboots/turns off my monitor. Is there some secret no one is telling me!?!?! I hate this damn card!

The only thing that ATi f*ucked up on this card is that it does NOT support or include Video for Windows. which means that you cannot use a Capture Device. You can only use programs that support DirectShow like ATi software only. ATi's dumbass implementation of this is on an equal footing as 3DFx marketing. Every previous damm AIW or any capture card for that matter on the market supports VfW and VfW's is a standard on every damm capture software on the market like virtualdub, NetMeeting, Windows Media Encoder and all others.

It makes no sense and I cannot comprehend at ALL WTF Ati did to follow this dumbass bankrupcy approach to directshow. The only thing I can think of is that there is a lawyer involved in this decision somehow. They MUST support VfW or face the ultimate DOOM for this card. Bunch of bumbeling idiots.
