Captured TV doesn't have sound

Recently got a Leadtek Winfast TV2000 Expert and there is no sound for the TV. Sound works fine in everything else but I can't get any sound to play when watching TV on the computer. My sound card is a Hercules Fortissimo 7.1 and I am using headphones. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You haven't plugged the sound cable from your TV2000 into your soundcard's line-in or internal AUX input. Your tuner only captures video - your soundcard has to do the audio capture.

The tuner does capture video and audio - but you'll have to route the captured audio to the sound card's input to make it heard.

Recent tuner cards can also do digital audio output (through the PCI bus, like for video), but there's few drivers that already support that. In Linux, this can be done.
