Capture part of a DVD to video?

I have a certain few minutes of a DVD that I want to capture to video. Is there any easy way to do this?

Very easy to do. Use DVDShrink to cut out the portion you want and output as VOB file. Then you could author it as a DVD or use any of the available tools to compress it to DIVX/XVID or VCD/SVCD.
