i have an older ati aiw rage ll card that worked fine until i upgraded to a new motherboard. it is a pci card and i was using win98. when i installed it in my new abit IS7-V2 mb, i couldn't get it to work with any of the common video capture programs out there. i don't know if this matters, but no irq is assisgned to the card in the bios on bootup, and it cannot be corrected in the device manager. i have a dual boot system now, that i can boot to either win 98 or xp on different hard drives and i used to be able to use the capture feature ok in virtual dub in win 98, but can't do it anymore. i have the tuner feature working fine by using iuvcr and flyds software in xp, but like i said, no program will let me capture anymore. is it possible that it's something to do with my new motherboard, or some kind of driver problem?. again i must say, that the card allowed me to capture fine on my old motherboard.
