Capture Card Recommendations

Just wanted to get recommendations if anyone has a suggestion on what's a good capture card that's compatible with Windows XP. I currently use a Dazzle DVC II, but its almost outdated, and I'd like to upgrade. I will mainly use the capture card for converting old VHS videos into DVDs. I would also appreciate if anyone can recommend a good website to learn more about the subject.
