Well the XP-2100+ has helped my average is now 20-23. Hopefully we will be able to crank out some more.

My brother is pissed off with his PIII800 with the voodoo3 2000 because he can't play some game so he called asking what he should buy. Well long story short I'll have a package arriving on monday or tuesday from NewEgg.

2 256meg PC 2700 DDR
XP-1700 retail
Radeon 9700pro
Antec case.

Figure I'll be able to run that 1700+ at 2500+ with out much trouble but I'll have to seti test it for a few days

If I could only get my buddy to get his 1800+ back on line I could hit 40-50 aday.

Hopefully team we can move up the ranks. If not at least we are close to the pre race average of 272

Didn't get the fedex shipment yet. Hopefully tommorow

I have to go to see the eye specialist in Maine tommorow too so hopefully the FedEx guy comes early and I can get that system crunching asap. figure I should get 8-10 aday from it and when I get his old pIII I'll set that up too and get 2 from that. I don't know if that will be enough though unless Robor or Rattledagger have some big dumps comming.

got the fedex shipment today and I'm finished building it. My brother though decided on an xp-1800 retail. I can't seem to get a good stable overclock with Knoppix. I'm installing win2k now and will be playing with the overclock on that.

I told him he should make sure to pick up a better cooler than this. I hope to get at least a 2100+ out of it but I'll have to see what the limits are.

so change the xp 1700 to an 1800 and add a 20gig 7200rpm maxtor, a aopen 52x, and an aopen 8x4x32 writer.

can't wait for the burn in

well I did a burn in with seti last night. settings were 2100+ on 166bus no problems at all.
