Went to see this movie at a special screening last night. The movie just sort of jumps right in with the opening credits and title coming up about 5 minutes or so later into the movie. The movie is very long at 2 hours and 26 minutes. The theme of the movie is the same as the Batman v Superman last month being: should the government control the super heroes or not. Well, Iron Man and a few others wanted this, and Captain America and a few other did not. So they decided to have a fight to see who was right. Doesn’t that make sense?? The special effects were really good, especially the 17 minute fight at the airport. Black Panther shows up (Is this our first black super hero)? The movie is pretty much action packed from start to finish, and better than the Batman v Superman movie there are constant comedic one liners that will make you laugh. And unlike the Batman movie, Captain America is filmed in the daytime instead of night making viewing much more enjoyable. I was surprised to see a teenaged Spiderman in the movie for about 10 or 15 minutes but no Thor. Don’t forget to stay to the very end, as there is a 1 or 2 minute scene that sets up the next two Avenger movies being: Avengers Infinity War Part 1 in 2018 and then Part II in 2019.
I was not a big Captain America fan, but found the movie better than the Batman movie.
