I've had this problem for years and I'm sure lots of other people have it where the capslock key is opposite of the setting. It happens to me because of a program I'm using. Is there a way to fix this other than a reboot? It would be nice if there was a way you could inform Windows that it's got it wrong. I'm using Windows 2000. TIA for any ideas.
 
I am using a KVM but the other box isn't on. I was having the same problem before I introduced a KVM into the equation. I don't think it's implicated. The problem resolved itself a few minutes ago but I know it will happen again. I wish I knew what to do to toggle the setting so Windows doesn't have to findout somehow it's got it wrong. Don't know how this happens.
