caps?

I'm looking to turn my old desktop into a HTPC without making the full conversion. Basically its going to be hooked up to a reciever to play music and I want to hook it up to the cable feed somewhere to use it as a TiVO. I have a HDTV box right next to where I'm going to put it, so location isn't a problem.

What card does everyone here use to get their caps?

that would be a good place to research but a number of people here actually use the cards for the same thing I am looking to use them for and they do so on a very regular basis.
