Capcom has announced proof that a sufficient amount of complaints from the internet can get them to change their minds. Previously, gamers who pre-ordered Lost Planet 2 from GameStop were to receive Wesker and his revolver from the Resident Evil series as their pre-order bonus. After fan complaints, Wesker is now available to everyone who plays Lost Planet 2.
Capcom has added two exclusive multiplayer maps to replace Wekser as the GameStop pre-order. Now gamers who pre-order from there will receive the underwater map, 'Helix', and 'Back to the Island'.
Here's how Capcom describes the two maps which you can see new images of in the gallery::
Good job internets. You've proved your mighty powers of persuasion once again.

Helix
The underwater NEVEC mining facility houses several layers and twisted corridors. Swim between the layers, or dive to the bottom to change your point of attack. Aqua Catapults can launch you to the upper levels in a hurry, and you must learn every corner and get the upper hand on your enemies.
Back to the Island
The shady atoll of Island 902 is broken into wide open spaces and compact interiors. Choose your battlefield from the beaches to the battered carrier, or explore a new dimension in the underwater battle. Control the bridge to dominate the map, but beware attacks from all sides.
One other nugget of information was confirmed. Lost Planet 2 will support local two-player split-screen so that you can play on the couch with a buddy. Split-screen will be handled the same way that it is in Resident Evil 5 with two off-set windows in order to maintain the correct aspect ratio. The underwater NEVEC mining facility houses several layers and twisted corridors.
