Capacity per stick of RAM

Hi,
Is there a performance difference between say having 2 x 2GB DDR2-667 vs 4 x 1GB? Thanks.


Nevermind, I found someone responded that 2x2GB would lessen the stress further down in the forum. If anyone has more info, I'm def. open to it though. Thanks again!

The stress your refering to is on the northbridge(MCH) and is only a factor when OC'ing. With that, unless you already have 2x1GB, I'd buy 2x2GB so you have open slots for later if you want more ram.
