i was working in nt4, all of a sudden i get a blue screen of death saying something along the lines of "hardware failure". it was a very short 1 or 2 line message, not the usual memory dump blue screen. i opened up the case and i see 3 capacitors with buldges at the top with some yellowish brown stuff on top. there are 3 more with just the buldge. these are the kind of capacitors with the x on top. system is working fine in this state after a reboot. what do i do guys? is this something to be concerned about? could it destroy all the hw in my system?

you are lucky its just a bulge and yellow stuff, sometimes the actual cap blows up spilling that stuff all over the insides

rma the board, its not safe i think to use in its current state

If the mobo is still under warrenty I would RMA it. If not, you could replace the blown capacitor's and hope for the best.
