hehe, I went to Toronto for the weekend and listened to the first 3 lessons of Pimsleur's Cantonese lessons, and can finally speak a few lines. It really helps knowing Mandarin though But as for Chinese music, it's so manipulated to make the words fit that it's hard enough to understand a song w/o an album liner, let alone the first time you hear it.

Sorry, another Cantonese that doesn't know much about Canto/Mandarin music. I'm a huge KPop fan though... but recently got back into Chinese music through Tension. Awesome group... I love that song, Our Story Acappela version...

and yes, Sammy's not sexy (nice looking though for her age) and her songs are soo boring. but her movies are quite funny.
