I swear, this morning I've gotten at LEAST 8-9 wrong numbers, all for completely different things (3 were trying to reach someone's residence, 2 were looking for doctors, and the rest just freaked out and hung up)

LEARN TO LOOK WHERE YOU'RE DIALING, YOU FAT FINGERED CHOADSUCKERS!!

I can't get any work (read: browsing) done if I'm constantly bombarded by these fools!

Until we had it changed, our 2nd phone line was Blockbuster video's old phone number.

I have the same problem. Except my wrong numbers are normally from this elderly lady who always gets the numbers mixed up and i have to tell her about 15 times each call that she misdialed.

I ALWAYS get calls for a school nearby. It makes me wonder what the parent (who is excusing their child from school that day) thinks when they get my vm with a standard "no one is available to take your call..." (its not even a persons voice, its obvious its a computer or something) and its the middle of the day on a school day. Dont they wonder why no one is there to pick up? I seriously get atleast 3 every single week day.

Phones should have a "block caller" option... like e-mail.

I never answer my phone and regularly turn it off. Rather spend time WITH my family than on the phone. I basically regard unknown callers as unwelcome guests.

Your fingers are too fat for this phone. For "Special Dialing Wand" smash fist against the Key pad

1) On a PBX. A VERY OLD PBX.

2) 90% of people here have caller ID blocking. Plus what if it's a client? I don't know the phone numbers for all 750 clients that could be calling, plus all 400 other people we deal with on a regular basis.

Caller ID blocking is the most retarded feature EVER. You should be forced to provide a reason you need your number blocked before they let you do it. Caller ID was an option on my cellular package, I got it initially and found out that all but TWO people calling me in the period of almost a year had caller ID blocked. I called and cancled it, because it was pretty much useless on my phone (I almost never answer it and just call people back)

I have unlisted number blocking. Works great. No more hidden telemarketing calls. Don't hear the phone ring as much as I used to.

2) Time to get a receptionist :D

Anyhow, on a side note, our phone system at the office has a call screening feature where it asks the caller to state their name and company. Then when I receive a call, I pick up the phone and I hear who is calling and can decide whether or not to pickup. It's great...telemarketers don't even bother...they just hang up. :D

Hey miss, is dis da telephone station? I need to pay for the phone. What? Don't call me that. The phone, my cell, needs to be paid for. What? Can't you be more polite? This isn't a telephone station? Are you kidding me? I don't believe you. Give me the authority, I need to clear this up.
