Of the three spur-of-the-moment polls I posted this morning, here are the results:

Gun Control:
20.59% are in favor of gun control
64.71% are against gun control
14.71% are undecided

SUV owners:
27.58% are in favor of SUVs
32.76% prefer economy cars
22.41% fall in between, driving other cars or trucks
17.25% prefer to walk or are otherwise undecided

President Bush:
44.45% feel he is doing a good job
44.44% do not agree with his actions
11.11% are undecided

From the looks of things, SUVs and the President received mixed reviews but an overwhelming majority here are against gun control. And an outspoken group took shots at me in two of the polls based on the wording or order of the answers I had listed. By their great powers of deduction, I must be a limp-wristed liberal.

For the record, I voted for Bush and continue to support him to this day, I drive a 4x4 SUV, and I'm a lifetime member of the NRA. With a name like Boonerebel, what would you expect? :D I intentionally listed a number of poll answers that I didn't agree with to give everyone a chance to speak up. Instead, I received a backlash from people here who I've previously respected and agreed with on a number of occasions, strictly based on the wording I used in the polls. Oh, well. Don't think I'll be trying this little experiment any time soon. :disgust:
