from toolbar: view > source
from web page: right click > view source
or cheat by changing tools > options > programs > html editor, to notepad
or, open notepad, drag the ie icon (on your address bar) and drop the shortcut on notepad

or .. .the hard way is to save the file, and then right click and open on notepad or something ....

other than that, i don't know ..
or maybe you can try tools > reset web settings, or go to start > program > control panel > add/remove program > msie > repair msie ....

Clear your temporary internet files, if IE freezes when you try to clear your temporary internet files delete them manually. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem, can't view source any more since this Thursday. I have tried all the ways mentioned above. It still doesn't work. The strange thing is both my two computer can view source before I installed KaZaA Lite 2.0 on them, after installation, neither of them can view source in IE anymore.

I did removed KaZaA after that, but it still doesn't work. What did KaZaA or Adware change on my computers? Help please.

someone mentioned this already, clear your IE cache directory and set the cache size to a reasonable amount. by default, i think they set it to a huge amount. i have mine at 75mb which is more than enough.
