Can't view an old private message

So I was sent a message, replied, and was sent another. The second message I received referenced the first, but when I try to go back and read it, I only get the second message and my reply. My message history shows two messages. Both links bring up the same thing. But I know its there, I can read the first sentence. Am I missing something?

It also tells me I have 4 messages in my private history. But I've only received two. If you count my reply, thats still only three. Where's the fourth?
 
Buried in fusetalk somewhere, you need to use the export feature to see it.

Be careful though with the export PM feature, it has a tendency to delete PM's even if you tell it not to. There are also a few threads on this topic already.
 
Same issue here ... The interesting piece is that when I click "Private Messages" link it shows the list of the latest messages received with first two lines previewed. When I click on one to follow-up, I only see my earlier reply to the message, but not the original message itself. This is a technical issue and needs to be fixed.

Which forum are those threads that explain what's going on and (hopefully) how to fix it?
