I have Windows 10 and I currently cant access the network to see my shares or my other PC shares.

This had been working before and not sure if a update caused the problem but my other PC has same OS and updates and the networks works fine and can access the network.

And yes I turned network discovery on and off as it was already on to see if it would help and has not.

Posting for quest and feedback TIA!

I tried to do a network reset that I did not even know this option was available and now I am stuck in a boot loop as my PC wont fully boot.

I thought I could get the repair screen by pressing F8 as PC was booting up but that not working either and where I cant do this from Windows 10 to get to safe mode I am pretty pissed off the MS has removed that option.

How can I get to the screen that lets me run a repair?

This also all started from last update this week but my other PC that another Windows 10 Pro PC has no networking problems or or not being able to boot.

I need to fix this asap as this is my main PC and it has my life on it!

In your other PC, make a windows 10 USB installer key, boot the main one to the key, and run a repair

Can you access any devices on the network via Windows filesharing? Do any entries appear when you attempt to browse the network?

How about if you do Start > Run > \\ipaddress of device you want to access
?

My laptop is a bit old and every time new Windows Update will cause different bootup issues. If you have USB drives / external SDCard attached via USB readers, detach them and see if they causes bootup problems. Look for your PC model and see if there is any new BIOS firmware that you can update.

Also try what ch33 said.

Use the Win 7 Style Control Panel to configure the IPV4 Network the way we use to in Win 7.

What I always do when I set new Win 10 system.

In Win 10 Settings Click on Network and Internet. On the left click On Ethernet. In Ethernet click on Change advance sharing option and you will get the Win 7 type Control Panel for Sharing.

While there also point the mouse the All Control Panel Items at the top right click and drag link to desktop. This will provide an ols style Control Panel Icon available on the Desktop when needed.

I still cant access my computers on my pc through 1 of my Windows 10 PC

I can do remote desktop and that the only I can get access to my shares

This like I say is only a problem and my network works fine on my other network PC

A MS patch was recently and I also was trying o use the network reset option and and then my PC went into a bootloop just as I got to seeing desktop screen.

This lead use Acronis True Image and install my last known good as I did not want to write over the ssd I was using.

Once I got the new copy installed on my OS drive I tried to install same Windows install to see if I could not do the fix by the reinstall. After the reinstall I still had same pita fu network.

I then copied the OS back to the original ssd and at one point I did use the reset network and once I got a reboot it gave me do you want to activate the network which always has be private network with all the share options turned on.

I just used the event viewer the system settings its showing the problem that I been having The browser service was unable to retrieve a list of servers from the browser master but I been unable to find any goggles that can help fix the problem.

I may look other more destructive options to test on the my 2nd hard drive that I just made but still hoping I can finally finally find a fix the gets my PC network browsing again.

browser masters aren't that relevant to your current situation IMO. A browser master is a PC that is acting kind of like the DNS server for your network but only for Windows filesharing services. It was vaguely relevant pre Win2k but since then there's a far greater reliance on actual DNS for name resolution prior to a Windows filesharing connection.

Even if the browser master was that relevant, it would have to be getting duff information from somewhere, which on a single LAN seems unlikely.

I don't know what your network infrastructure looks like but assuming you have a router that manages DNS for you, I'd consider pulling its mains power for a minute and plugging it back again. It's a really common solution for a popular router in the UK, but it may help for you as well.

Knowing the answers to my previous questions might also help.

when I click the network a list of devices shows I cant dig down to see my pc or my network pcs.

I wish I could post some images here a picture speaks a thousand words and I never encountered this problem before.

The fact that I just spent 3 hrs to reinstall Windows and it still has the same problem.

On my other PC my network works fine and I can access through remote desktop to see all my shares and copy paste things but when I click the network icon there are no PC to browse.
