Can't use Intellimouse Explorer's "extra" buttons in winME

I can't use the wheel or back and forward buttons on my intellimouse explorer...

Even when I install the newest intellimouse drivers, it refuses to recognize that an explorer is attached (it is not an option in the dropdown box of mice)

Anybody else have this problem?
 
I dont know about your mouse, but there was new drivers posted just for Melinneum by Microsoft for my Microsoft internet keyboard. The original software for win98 was totally rejected by Melinneum
