i have an a8v deluxe with a promise fastrak 378 sata/raid controller. i wanted to start using windows hibernate function, but when i click hibernate, i get an error saying it wont work with the drivers for the promise controller. sorry i cant give you the actual text of the error message, im using a different computer now. i can update my post later if you need me to. also, i looked everywhere for a driver for it, and didnt succeed. the only one was on asus' website and appears to be older than the one that shows up in device manager. also it says the driver is not digitally signed, and also cant provide a date for it. dont know if that means anything. what could be the problem? will hibernate just not work with my system?
