Can't use google, yahoo, msn...What's up

Hey everyone, I can't seem to use google or any websites that use googel for their search engine. The only one I can use, to my knowledge, is excite. What is going on? I had a virus, trojan.qhosts, which I got rid of, but I still can't access this. I know one other person who this has happened to.

Does anyone know what's going on? If you want, please PM me, this is really weird. I wish I knew what was going on or the solution to this.

Deleting Other Malware Modifications

Right-click Start then click Search? or Find? depending on your version of Windows.
In the Named input box, type:
HOSTS
In the Look In drop-down list, select the drive which contains Windows, then press Enter.
Open the file ?HOSTS? with a text editor. You can do this by right-clicking the file and choose ?Open with?. On the ?Open with? window choose Notepad or any other text editor installed on your system.
Delete the lines containing the strings listed below. This erases the links written by the malware on the system.

Same problem for me.... no problem through the hosts file.... But I blundered while editting the registry :Q
So, tonight or tomorrow, I have to reformat the C drive... it was due for a reformatting anyway.
