I'm not sure what's going on. I've got the PC listed in my sig (Host) networked to another P4 with Windows XP (Client) using ethernet cards and a RJ-45 crossover cable. I can access the Internet and download files, but I can't play online games without turning off Norton Personal Firewall 2002 which is installed on the Host PC. The game I'm trying to play is Medal of Honor: Allied Assualt. When I go to list game servers, nothing shows up unless I turn off the firewall. I have no problem playing MOH:AA online on the Host PC without turning off the firewall. Prior to buying the current Client PC, I had an old Windows 98 P2 333 PC networked to the Host and I had no problem playing MOH:AA online without turning off the firewall. Is there a setting I'm missing? I've been through NPF several times and can't figure out what to do.

Windows XP has a built-in firewall, so try and disable that and see if you can hookup to a MOH:AA server without having to turn off your primary computer firewall.

I know it's Norton Personal Firewall because when disable it, I have no problem playing games. Also, I just discovered that if I set NPF to minimum protection I can get through. However, I'd like to be able to play games and not lower my security.

You'll need to open ports to allow incoming and outgoing for 12203 which I think is what MOH uses.
